Summer Program "Discover Hiroshima"

Overview

   Students from PUH partner institutions can participate in this program.

   This is a one-week program designed to deepen understanding of Japanese culture and Hiroshima.
 In addition to briefly experiencing various research fields at our university, participants will have the opportunity to interact with our students and enjoy Hiroshima, including visits to the two world heritage sites of Miyajima and the Peace Memorial Park.
  All activities are conducted in English.

Contents

  PUH has three campuses, each with different academic areas.

     - Hiroshima Campus:
       Regional Culture
       Business Administration
       Informatics (IoT, AI, Data Science, etc.)
       Health Sciences

     - Shobara Campus:
       Development of Local Resources (Agriculture, Food Analysis and Development etc.)
       Life and Environmental Sciences (Biotechnology, Environmental Preservation etc.)

     - Mihara Campus:
        Nursing
        Physical Therapy,
        Occupational Therapy
        Communication Science and Disorders
        Human Welfare

  Participants are required to visit all campuses without focusing on a specific field to develop the knowledge related to each field.
  In addition, tours of the Peace Memorial Park and Miyajima, where there are World Cultural Heritage sites, are also provided.
